Marriage between a Man and Women?

If I told you I really didn’t get heated when it came to politics, I would be lying. I came across an article today that really poured kerosene on an already burning fire. Why? Well as we all know I am a newly married. When L and I got married we promised each other things and vowed to one another till “Death do us Part”. Ok so let me translate… L and are committed to one another until one of us goes to see Jesus! Which means L is a MAN and I am a WOMAN!
What part of Genesis 2:18, 21-24 don’t people get? “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” WIFE: The term originated from the Middle English wif, from Old English wīf, woman or wife, from Germanic * wībam, woman, which itself is related to Modern German Weib (woman, wife), from the Indo-European root ghwībh- 'shame; pudenda' (cf. Tocharian B kwīpe and Tocharian A kip, each meaning 'female pudenda', with clear sexual overtones) The original meaning of “wife” as simply “woman”, unconnected with marriage, is preserved in words like “midwife” and “fishwife”.  Again let me translate… WIFE means GIRL not BOY!
Ok so now that were clear on the definitions, the article via yahoo stated this today: "The White House says President Barack Obama is "grappling" with his personal views on gay marriage even as HE’s (POTUS) ordered the Justice Department to stop defending the constitutionality of a law that bans it.
The Justice Department announced Wednesday that, at Obama's direction, it would not defend the Defense of Marriage Act (Read it here)  in a court case where it's being challenged.
Spokesman Jay Carney said Obama has always opposed the Defense of Marriage Act as "unnecessary and unfair." But Carney said there's no change to how Obama views gay marriage itself.
Obama said in January that he is still wrestling with whether gay couples should have the right to marry. He said his feelings on the issue continue to evolve but he still believes in allowing strong civil unions."
WHAT IS WRONG PEOPLE? WHAT DON’T YOU GET?? READ THE BIBLE!

Government Shut down?

So something interesting I learned while working at the WH, is how Monica L and President Bill C became "friends". In 1995 the "shutdown" of the United States federal government was the result of a conflict between Democratic President Clinton and the Republican-controlled Congress over funding for Medicare, education, the environment and public health. It took place after Clinton vetoed the spending bill which Congress sent him. Thus the Federal government of the United States put non-essential government workers on furlough and suspended non-essential services from November 14 through November 19, 1995 and from December 16, 1995 to January 6, 1996. At the time Monica L was a WH Intern, since as a WH Intern you are not paid, all Interns were required to work to pick up the slack of the people who were suspended. A government shut down is about to happen yet again, and we are seeing the exact same issue/problems as before.

A little background: When the previous fiscal year ended September 30,1995 the president and the Republican-controlled Congress hadn't passed a budget. A majority of Congress members wanted additional cuts in education, environmental controls, and the Earned Income Tax Credit or EITC, as well as limiting the growth of Medicare. Their differences resulted from differing estimates of economic growth, medical inflation, and anticipated revenues. To keep the government running in times of deficit, it is necessary to periodically increase the limit of debt that the Treasury Department is authorized to accrue. In response to Clinton's unwillingness to make the budget cuts that the Republicans wanted, Newt Gingrich threatened to refuse to raise the debt limit, putting the country in default. Since Gingrich expected Clinton to fold, the result was a game of chicken between the two. Economically, the result would be a shaking of investor confidence and higher interest rates, which would increase the cost of borrowing money.Since a new budget had not been approved, October 1 started with the entire federal government running on continuing resolution to authorize funding for departments until new budgets are approved. The existing continuing resolution was set to expire on November 13 at midnight, at which point non-essential government services would be forced to be shut down in order to prevent the country from defaulting on its debt. Congress made many attempts to pass cuts, which Clinton denounced as "backdoor efforts". On November 13, major players on both sides, including Vice President Al Gore, Dick Armey, and Bob Dole, met once more to try resolving the budget. This shut the government down not once but twice, ending the game of chicken on January 6th 1996.

I hope this does not happen yet again, I'm confident that the Current Administration and the Current House can reach a resolution by no other than my birthday March 4. Honestly, they need to quite blaming the other party and figure out a resolution to the budget.

What do you think? Should we shut down the government untill we can come to a resolution?

Lu y

Armey replied gruffly that if I didn't give in to them, they would shut the government down and my presidency would be over. I shot back, saying I would never allow their budget to become law, "even if I drop to 5 percent in the polls. If you want your budget, you'll have to get someone else to sit in this chair!" Not surprisingly, we didn't make a deal.

Who's your favorite President?

Today I’m at work. Which really, it’s just another day, although today is a Federal Holiday; Presidents Day, and because of this, it makes me miss working for the Government because I would be celebrating this today! So in lieu of Presidents Day who is your favorite President?
Yes my response will be bias, but then again I was devoted to GWB or as the Inter-Circle refer to him as 43!! I’m sure if I lived in 1860’s I would be for 16. AKA Abraham Lincoln, who was the founder of the GOP, or even 3.Thomas Jefferson, just because he was a founding father and very intelligent.

POTUS at an Event honoring our Military.

The Siena College Research Institute has asked 238 presidential scholars to rank presidents five times since 1982. This year was a polling year. Franklin Roosevelt came in first, Barack Obama at 15th, George W. Bush at 40th, and Andrew Johnson dead last. The scholars rank each president on 20 different characteristics before arriving at the overall scores. Here's a look at some of the characteristics the historians were asked to rank and which presidents they thought exemplified them best. (Source)
1.        Background and Intelligence: Thomas Jefferson
2.       Communication and Imagination: President Obama ranked sixth in imagination and seventh in communication, his top scores in any category. John F. Kennedy also scored high in these categories: fourth in communication and seventh in imagination
3.       Best Relationship with Congress: Lyndon B. Johnson, was ranked No. 1 for his relationship with congress. Overall, Johnson ranked 16th.
4.       Luckiest President: George Washington, He was also first in his choice of executive appointments and leadership. Although history remembers him for not being able to tell a lie, he was second in integrity.
5.        No. 1 in ability to compromise, integrity, and domestic accomplishments: Abraham Lincoln, Honest Abe passed George Washington in integrity. His ranking in ability to compromise and domestic accomplishments were no doubt the markings of the Civil War.
6.       Worst President of all Time:  Andrew Johnson, The man who filled Lincoln's shoes couldn't keep up the pace. Johnson's failure to reconstruct an economically viable South and guarantee the rights of freed slaves gave him bad marks across all categories and the honor of being the worst president in American history.
7.        Favorite President: Franklin D. Roosevelt, FDR ranked No. 1 overall and in four distinct categories, including handling of the economy and foreign policy accomplishments. No doubt the New Deal and Roosevelt's decision to enter World War II influenced his ranking.

Happy Presidents Day!

OBAMACARE and $359 M to Taxpayers

Sorry I have not written in a 2 DAYS! When I started this blog I was determined to succeed at writing EVERDAY. I tell you, juggling the duties of being a Wife, Chief, Exercise Junkie; Mommy to our kitten “Cotton”, Follower of Christ, and Maid defiantly take priority, so I’m still learning the balance between making time to Blog, but I’m TRYING
Usually FRIDAY would be FABULOUS FRIDAY and I would pick and share something that I LOVE and think you would love to, but I found an article that I thought needed to be shared. The article’s main points revolve around OBAMACARE but also encompass the IRS.  The lovely IRS; you LOVE to HATE them, or at least I do.
So this past week the IRS came out with their new budget for FY 12 and it said “it will need a battalion of 1,054 new auditors and staffers and new facilities at a cost to taxpayers of more than $359 MILLION in fiscal 2012 just to watch over the initial implementation of President Obama's healthcare reforms.” WHAT? $359 MILLION of OUR Tax Dollars… “Among the new corps will be 81 workers assigned to make sure tanning salons pay a new 10 percent excise tax. Their cost: $11.5 million.” The ACA [Affordable Care Act] will require additional resources to build new IT systems; modify existing tax processing systems; provide taxpayer outreach and assistance services; make enhancements to notices, collections, and case management systems to address and resolve taxpayer issues timely and accurately; and conduct focused examinations to encourage compliance," said the newly released IRS budget. In its request, the IRS explained that the tax changes associated with health reform are huge. "Implementation of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 presents a major challenge to the IRS. ACA represents the largest set of tax law changes in more than 20 years, with more than 40 provisions that amend the tax laws."
QUESTION: If the ACA presents a major challenge to the IRS, and it very costly, then can someone explain why WE PASSED it?
Here are 10 THINGS that are not Included in the Bill .
     1.   Insurance for millions, not everyone is included.
     2.   Coverage for Pre-Existing Conditions
     3.   To help buy insurance.
     4.   Help with Prescription Medicine.
     5.   Penalties for people who don't Buy Insurance and Companies won't offer it.
     6.    No Public Opinion.
     7.    No Traditional Medicare Cuts
     8.    Higher Taxes for the Wealthy.
    9.    Cutting the Deficit.
     10.  Making Healthcare Cheaper.

This is distrubing, that our GOVERNMENT, assumes that we want this. I feel as though they think " It's not our Money, its the taxpayers so who cares"
Here are 10 WAYS the GOP can change things.
1.       Repeal the Healthcare Legislation.
2.       Take the Law to the Courts to Declare Unconstitutional.
3.       Cut down the Law Provision by Provision.
4.       De-fund the Law.
5.       Draft an Alternative Bill.
6.       Delay the Implementation of the Law.
7.       Launch an Oversight Campaign.
8.       Get the PRO-Life's on Board.
9.       Frame it as a Tax Issue.
10.   Take Control of the Senate and the Presidency in 2012.

This is distrubing, that our GOVERNMENT, assumes that we want this. I'm sure some people were ok with it, but I can bet they did not read the bill, NOR do they care, but they want to make a ruckus about it. So Frusterating!

Tax Refunds are BAD??

When I file my taxes every year, I get really excited because that means FREE MONEY for me! J Before I got married I would go shopping, pay off things if needed or even save some for a rainy day.  Although now that I am married. It’s no more of MY money… HA! It’s OUR money!
I came across an article today that intrigued me, and since Tax season is upon us, I thought I would share this with the world. According to Jeff Schnepper with MSN Money, “Refunds are bad!” He says “Yes it is fun and exciting to get a check in the mail, but it’s not like you're gaining anything. That money was always yours. The feds are just giving it back. And that's the point. When you get a refund, what that really means is that YOU’VE given the federal government an INTEREST-FREE loan you're just getting your money back.”... WHAT? I’m not sure about you but I don’t want to give the government anymore that I have to and I’m really not ok with an INTEREST FREE loan. Schnhepper makes a great point, he says “In fiscal 2009; more than 96.7 million Americans received tax-refund checks, with an average refund of $2,683, up slightly from the year before. No matter how you do the math (for those without calculators, it's more than $259 billion), that's a whole lot of interest-free dollars. They want that check from the government.” He even gives you a challenge; he claims he can give you the same deal: “I offer to allow anybody reading this to send me money. I'll take cash, checks, money orders, even food stamps. Send me as much as you want. And I promise -- on my word as MSN Money's tax expert -- that I'll send it back to you in April, without interest. It sounds silly when you put it that way, doesn't it? But it's no different than getting a tax refund from the IRS. Some people argue that refunds are a great way to save money. If they never see the dollars in their checks, it's easier to put aside money for, say, that big-screen plasma TV they've been drooling over."

WOW!  I know my bank would never offer me an INTEREST FREE loan, I mean how would they make money if they did that? So why are we really getting excited about Tax Refunds? Until I read this I guess I was ignorant in regards to Tax Refunds, but now this is one more reason why I am REPUBLICAN and want to cut taxes. Weather you make 7K a year or 700K a year, I think taxes should be lower for everyone, and we should STOP paying for random programs that cost too much and things we don’t need!

L-O-V-E!

L-O-V-E... Brings back memories! L-O-V-E is the song L and I danced to at our reception. But what exactly is LOVE and why is it that on a RANDOM day in February we celebrate the meaning LOVE? If you know me well you know that I LOVE history, so today is about the History of Love... Valentine’s Day that is!

According to one legend, Valentine actually sent the first "valentine" greeting himself. While in prison, it is believed that Valentine fell in love with a young girl — who may have been his jailor's daughter — who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter, which he signed "From your Valentine," an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories certainly emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic, and, most importantly, romantic figure. It's no surprise that by the Middle Ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints in England and France.

While some believe that Valentine's Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine's death or burial — which probably occurred around 270 A.D — others claim that the Christian church may have decided to celebrate Valentine's feast day in the middle of February in an effort to "Christianize" celebrations of the pagan Lupercalia festival. In ancient Rome, February was the official beginning of spring and was considered a time for purification. Houses were ritually cleansed by sweeping them out and then sprinkling salt and a type of wheat called spelt throughout their interiors. Lupercalia, which began at the ides of February, February 15, was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.
To begin the festival, members of the Luperci, an order of Roman priests, would gather at the sacred cave where the infants Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, were believed to have been cared for by a she-wolf or lupa. The priests would then sacrifice a goat, for fertility, and a dog, for purification.
The boys then sliced the goat's hide into strips, dipped them in the sacrificial blood and took to the streets, gently slapping both women and fields of crops with the goathide strips. Far from being fearful, Roman women welcomed being touched with the hides because it was believed the strips would make them more fertile in the coming year. Later in the day, according to legend, all the young women in the city would place their names in a big urn. The city's bachelors would then each choose a name out of the urn and become paired for the year with his chosen woman. These matches often ended in marriage. Pope Gelasius declared February 14 St. Valentine's Day around 498 A.D. The Roman "lottery" system for romantic pairing was deemed un-Christian and outlawed. Later, during the Middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds' mating season, which added to the idea that the middle of February — Valentine's Day — should be a day for romance. The oldest known valentine still in existence today was a poem written by Charles, Duke of Orleans to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London following his capture at the Battle of Agincourt. The greeting, which was written in 1415, is part of the manuscript collection of the British Library in London, England. Several years later, it is believed that King Henry V hired a writer named John Lydgate to compose a valentine note to Catherine of Valois. (Source:http://www.history.com/topics/valentines-day)

Interesting? I’m not sure why we celebrate Valentine’s Day but I Like it,  Wait. I LOVE it.  I don’t know a girl that doesn't want a  VALENTINE. This year is our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. Ha! So L stepped out of his box and he prepared a WONDERFUL Valentine’s Day brunch for me. Can you believe this? He COOKED!  I was so happy, and it tasted GREAT!

L cooking up a tasty Brunch!

I was so excited because if you know L, he does NOT cook. Although besides Golf, I think he has found his “Nook”. HA!

Drum roll please.. The finished product! :)
Take this time today and tell somebody "Happy Valentine's Day!

Ron Paul for POTUS?

Who is RON PAUL? Ron Paul represents the 14th district (Galveston, Lake Jackson, and Victoria) of the state of Texas on the Republican side. He is currently serving his 12th term. PAUL was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and then Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. Dr. Paul is the leading spokesman in Washington for limited constitutional government, LOW taxes, FREE MARKETS, and a return to sound monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He is known among both his colleagues in Congress and his constituents for his consistent voting record in the House of Representatives: Dr. Paul NEVER votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill.

Every year there is a Straw Poll that is taken amongst the participants at CPAC (click the link to see results) which I find the results interesting. CPAC is Conservative Political Action Conference. It is held every year in Washington D.C. usually the second weekend in February. First off, it is a POLL so it’s based off opinion. 2nd off, It doesn’t always reflect who will be the nominee. For example the past two years have been PAUL, although the three years before that was ROMNEY, and in 2008, our Nominee was McCain. I would LOVE to see NEWT GINGRICH. He is well-known as the architect of the "Contract with America" that led the Republican Party to victory in 1994 by capturing the majority in the U.S. House for the first time in forty years. After he was elected Speaker, he disrupted the status quo by moving power out of Washington and back to the American people. Under his leadership, Congress passed welfare reform, passed the first balanced budget in a generation, and passed the first tax cut in sixteen years. In addition, the Congress restored funding to strengthen our defense and intelligence capabilities, an action later lauded by the bipartisan 9/11 Commission. On the ticket with NEWT, I also Like TIM PAWLENTY (GOV-MN), CHRIS CRISTIE or even HALEY BARBOUR.

Whatever the future brings for 2012, I HOPE and PRAY Republicans will trump.

Fabulous Favorite Fridays!

So Friday is my third favorite day, because I know Saturday is next, as Saturday is my second because L and I have a tradition. Every Saturday we  go to Chick-Fil-A (My FAVORITE Restaurant) and have breakfast.  We have done this ever since we met. Its great L and L time! Sunday is my FAVORITE day because I get to go to church. :)
So I’ve decided to write every Friday about something that is a FAVORITE of mine. So today is… drum roll please…  YES TO CARROTS… yes to what? Yup, Yes To Carrots.  Yes to Carrots are GREAT products that I came across a couple of years ago.
I love ORGANIC things; food, laundry detergents, hair products and body products, anything really. Yes to Carrots is a company out of ISRAEL that was founded in 2006. YES TO is a consumer-inspired line of hair and skin products born out of a desire to make you look and feel your happiest and most radiant. YES TO combines high-quality organic fruits and vegetables with a special mineral elixir derived from the DEAD SEA to nourish and hydrate naturally. With four unique collections - Yes To Carrots, Yes To Tomatoes, Yes To Cucumbers, and now Yes To Baby Carrots - the Yes To family addresses a variety of skin and hair needs to help people find their own "recipe" of products. And the best part is, not only have we found a way to offer all of this incredible quality at a very accessible, guilt-free price, But the best part the YES TO is a portion of all Yes To proceeds has been dedicated to the Yes To Carrots™ Seed Fund, a non-profit, 501(C) 3 organization helping to make a difference in people's lives through sustainable agriculture.
Our high temperature this morning when I drove to work was 8* F… Arkansas really? My skin also gets really dry in the winter so I use their Hand and Elbow Moisturizing Cream and it really helps, especially those with Eczema, so this is my FAVORITE product.  I should mention that you can only find these products at Walgreen's.

Their Moto (and mine too).. Say YES... To Everything.

send me a letter Mr. Postman.

Have you ever heard the song "Please Mr. Postman" by Diana Ross? It's pretty "Old School" although I do remember it, as my mom used to jam to "Oldies" back in the day! Ha! Today I came across the Christmas card that L and I sent out this past year. I don't know about you, but before L and I got married I knew our postal carrier by name... Ms. Vicki. She drove a Navy Blue truck from the passenger’s seat, with "Mail Carrier, Frequent Stops" plastered all over the truck. She was a nice little lady; in fact I wondered how she reached the petals and drove at the same time because Ms. Vicki was SHORT! She even HAND-Deliever wedding presents!

I came across a story that I reminded me of Ms.Vicki today. Did you know that The Postal Service delivers mail six days a week to nearly 140 million addresses. Every year this number increases by 2 million? The USPS interesting enough is supported solely by the government and receives NO TAX dollars. In the last couple of years, they have seen a massive decline in revenue because EMAIL'S have dominated as a way of communication. In Q1 of 2011, the USPS suffered a $329 Million LOSS. The USPS is currently taking drastic measures, like requesting to stop Saturday Mail Services, and on January 2nd, of this year, the USPS implemented a postage rate increase for some Priority Mail® and Express Mail® services. All because of technology. But wait.. don't get me wrong. I LOVE email, but I also LOVE getting letters in the mail!

Ok now I will date myself a little, although some people out their will remember when they were less than 25 cents, but when I was little you could mail a letter for 25 CENTS. WHOA times have change.

Next time you see your "Mail Man" say Thanks! :)

just another winter day!

So the SNOWPOCALYPSE of 2011 has finally hit NWA, and after 24+ inches of snow, Snowpocalypse has yet to leave. Sadly though I'm enjoying this all alone as L is at work, but thank goodness for Hot Chocolate, Pandora, a Computer and Heat!

Off our back porch, the stop sign is almost COVERED!

So yesterday was a great/big day for the state, as our New Lt. Governor Mark Darr unanimously passed Senate BILL 221, The Arkansas Financial Transparency Act. YAY for online Checkbooks! I remember when Mark was running and this was one of his big platforms. I think it's great for the state and will be very beneficial. Maybe that’s because I'm conservative? HA! I mean really.. who doesn't want to know where their tax dollars are being spent? Here is an excerpt from Darr's Press Release: “This bill will serve as an online checkbook for Arkansans and provide the accountability they deserve.  This is an issue I feel very strongly about and is one of the primary reasons I ran for public office. It is my belief that an online checkbook will promote fiscal responsibility and serve as a check against wasteful spending. I look forward to a favorable vote on the floor of the Senate.”

Mark speaking to the committee.

Interesting as of now at least 32 states currently mandate that residents be able to access an online database of government expenditures with “checkbook-level” detail. Most of these Web sites are also searchable, making it easier for residents to obtain information about government spending. Though after further review I found only Five (5) states that have the Online Checkbook capabilities offered to the public, so Arkansas would be the SIXTH (6). (Source :http://www.mopirg.org)So congratulations and THANK YOU to Lt. Governor Mark Darr for forming and developing this Bill.

Richard Weiss, director of the state Department of Finance and Administration, told the committee it would cost the state about $600,000 to set up the database and $300,000 annually to operate it. The bill would require the database to up and running by July 1, 2012. I think those people who are against it or not in favor, are concerned that it will (1) Hold them more accountable, and (2) It could potentially expose information that they would not public

Little Piece of My Heart!

So if you know me, you know I have a huge heart for CHINA and ORPHANS. Did you know  that there is estimated to be around 163 MILLION orphans in the world today? So today I want you to meditate on what I'm about to say. I have been immensely blessed as I have been to China a couple of different times, and have acquired a true understanding of how BLESSED we are, not only as a nation but also as Christians and individuals. Often times I wonder why God gave ME this wonderful life? I look to the scriptures but My HEART aches for the orphans. Exodus 22:23 “He hears the cries of the orphan”. I find peace with that.

I love kids, I really do. They make me laugh so much and definitely bring out the kid inside me. I want a ton of Kids, maybe NOT like 19 and Counting.. HA! and L might not be ok with that.. But I love their sweet, innocent, faces, how they cuddle, and ask questions, their little voices and the random things they say. I know there are SO many women out there that are unable to conceive children; and they long and pray for that. Adoption might not be WHAT they want, but I tell you after you work, see, fall in love with one I'm certain your heart will be change. L and I HOPE to adopt from China one day. Let this picture resinate!

There is a great Collaborative Movement coming to NWA called The IDEA CAMP! This is a movement focusing on Orphan Care and the Church. They will facilitate fresh, honest and trans- formative conversations with leading thinkers and practitioners on topics including US & International care, community development, trafficking of orphans, adoption, foster care, child sponsorship, HIV/AIDS, special needs, cross-cultural & religious dynamics to care, and many more. Idea Camp's desire is to live life as God’s loving expressions of grace and hope to our world through tangible acts of care for orphans.

and so it has begun!

So my first blog post EVER! Ha! I'm fairly new to the "Blogging World", although I do read many. I've always said "I don't have time to Blog" and made random excuses really not to, although after reading several on a daily basis, I decided I should now make time! I just really hope I can keep up to date with "Blogging" everyday, that is my goal anyways.

A little about me. I am a newlywed. I married my best friend who I am proud to call my husband on October 9th of 2010... The BEST day of my life!  Crazy fact about us: We dated for 3.5 months before we got engaged, and we were engaged for 17.0 months; and since May 5th of 2009 we have not spent a day apart, and although it sounds bizarre, I'm not sick of him yet! :) He's a great spiritual leader, AMAZING Golfer, so humble,  has much wisdom and is the most loyal person you will ever meet,  I thank God for him everyday. I LOVE HIM!

I was born and raised in a normal size town in the "Natural State". I grew up Southern Baptist and even had a dance at our reception! :)  I feel in love with POLITICS after volunteering for a Governor's campaign, which was followed by working for the 3rd district Congressman and the moving to Washington D.C. to work in the White House for the Bush Administration. So yup you guessed it.. I'm a devout REPUBLICAN!
So because of this, I read a lot.. mostly political happenings and current affiars issues. (Hence: Politics and Polka-Dots.)

I am a creative person or at least I like to think I am. I love to paint... Anything really, Murals, Canvases, Nursery's or Kid's Rooms. After my Niece was born I fell in love with POLKA-DOTS. Her Nursery was majority Polka- Dot and thus began my love for them.

So now you know me. Sorta. I'm already begining to think what tomorrow's post will bring. Ha! It's so addicting already and I've just begun.. my life that is.. in a blog!
